Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has ever tried entering the No purchase Neccesary contests on the back of packs. Almost every pack has them on the back of the pack, and what you do is you mail your address to the card company, and they'll enter you in drawings for the insert cards of that series, and your chances of winning are the same as the odds on the back of the pack.
I've done this from time to time, and yesterday, I finaly got one back from 2005 Donruss Leather and Lumber. I've attached a picture of the card I got. It's probably not worth much, but it's still pretty neat how I got it, and it was totaly free.

it really doesn't matter what kind of pack you try it on, because it's all luck. But, you have to get very new packs, because the letters must be sent in by the date specified on the back of the pack. A couple of times, I have just looked at the packs, w/o buying them, and written down the address, because you only need the address, no upc or foil. However, look at the odds and types of inserts on the back of the packs. If you really like those inserts, or think you have a good chance of getting one, send it in.

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, but the only thing you have to mail in is a 3x5 card w/ your name and full address, in a #10 envelope. And yeah, you do have to buy those rip off 39 cent stamps. Look at the back of the pack for more info, and be sure to see the date that they have to be postmarked by.
