Steinbrenner is predicting a WS victory for the Yankees this year.

IMO opinion he is putting more pressure on them than necessary.

Playing in NY is hard enough, so he should keep his mouth shut IMO.

I think these are the unspoken expectations of the team anyway. Apparently Torre told the team the same thing earlier in the day.

I think every manager in the league opens spring training with the same speech. What would my players think if i started spring training with "ok guys, i think we can win 25-30 games tops this year...who's with me!". It is just George being George.
