--Surprised you'd vote for Rocky. He has to be a huge disappointment for you after you made him your big offseason pickup. If he and O'Toole were earning their paychecks you'd be contending.

I just have to buckle up and home that him and O'Toole perform next year, or that's how it looks right now (unless I make another crazy trade).
I mean, Colavito's poor showmanship besides in his power numbers is upsettting, but nothing like my staff. Jackson, Kaat, and O'Toole were all supposed to be great this year. But Jackson is the only one whose showing up, and that's only occasionally (8 complete games and 8 wins. oi). I've got two more years out of O'Toole though.
Still, I say wait until 1964. If I still have Jackson, Kaat, O'Toole, Pappas, and Perry ... well, lets just hope my offense shows up.
I look at it this way. 1964 is going to be the year of the Gamblers. Because we're going to make some gambles.
That is if I'm still with the league. After the summer, I'm going off to college, but I will have interent access. I may not be as active as I am now, but I think I can still participate.

Mark - Thanks for compiling those stats. Not to be picky, but a couple of items I want to mention. I voted for Vada Pinson in CF. It was not strictly a homer vote, as he has stats to justify a vote. However, it hasn't been counted anywhere. No problem, since it doesn't affect anything, because I was the only one who voted for him. Maybe you counted it as a zero because I made both of my extra choices in CF, and he was the fourth one.
More importantly, one of the doormat pitchers is having a really great season, but you aren't getting this name right. Art MAHAFFEY is the one. I know, I know, I'm being picky, but since the guy did win an all-star team berth, we should at least get the name right. And you DID manage to get Bill Monboquette's name right!:p

--I'll get Art's name right in the All Star archives. Pinson is having a fine season. Not quite as good as 61, but outstandining its own right. CF is easily the deepest position in All Star type perfromamces this year though. Mantle is having an MVP quality year and Mays is not far behind (after a lousy start). Willie Davis, George Altman and Pinson are all probably better than the backup leftfielders (Skinner and Davis). Lenny Green is having a nice year too.
