Just swept the Phillies in Philly...

Honestly, this has to be one of the best road trips I have ever seen from this team!!!

9-1, 8 in a row and against the 2 best teams in the West (record-wise) and vs the 2nd place team in our division....

Bullpen looked great today!!:gt

I'm a Yankee fan but I bet for the Mets for their last 4 games to win and I won a total of $125!!!

Whoo-hoo keep the streak alive!

Is it over?

I've sure been around long enough where I should know better but man, I'm feeling pretty giddy right now.

I need some perspective. Somebody talk to me about the '51 Dodgers or something. :crazy

Well, Mr. Met, it went something like this.....

On August 10, 1951, WE were 13 1/2 games in front of the hated NY Giants.

WE somehow lost OUR focus, and/or didn't quite take the Giants seriously, so WE tied for 1st place on the last day of the season. :(

Enter the 3-Game Playoff; they won the first game; WE won the second game; and the third game is there for history and all time!

MOTTO: Pay close attention to the team on your back...and, always, always, take them seriously.

My gut tells me the METS will indeed stay focused, and barring any serious injuries, they will do just fine!

The METS remind me of Hannibal Smith of the "A-Team"........"I love it when a plan comes together". Indeed!!

Yeah, bring on the Yankees and the Red Sox. I think we can play with anybody now.

Thanks for the synopsis Deb. I'll be down in Philly for the August series. I'll keep an eye out for telescopes in center field. ;)
