"I'll be open to look at anything, but would I like to play in Seattle? Sure I would," Schmidt said Thursday. "Whenever I face them in spring training it's a special time for me. I see that uniform and I see everything I identified with growing up."
Schmidt said he remains open to returning to San Francisco, and referring to Seattle, he said, "You never know. I might get up there, hate the stadium, get bombed and I might never want to go back."

I read this story in the paper this morning. Anything is possible and Seattle is home for Schmidt but I also think it is away to get a few more dollars from the Giants. :D

That sounds good to me. I do not think they will want to sign longer than 3
years but could see an option in there to.

While I'm all for re-signing the big guy, 3 years plus a club option is as far as I would go. And frankly, I don't think Jason would get a better offer than that, given his medical history. But this team needs it's top dog around for a few more years!

Some people think Bonds is the one people refer to as Top Dog! If you are referring to Schmidt as both Top Dog and Ace I agree that they need him for at least the next two to three years. :coffee

I agree unless someone offer us the moon!We trade Schmidt and I'm gonna go postal. He's the only decent player we have on the roster.
