White Sox CF Brian Anderson dropped his appeal of his 5 game suspension stemming from his part in the May 20th melee against the Cubs.

Anderson began to serve his suspension with tonight's game against St.Louis.He was not scheduled to play the next few games as righties were scheduled to pitch against the Sox.

He is scheduled to return to the lineup next Tuesday at Pittsburgh.

Its a shame because Brian was really starting to come around and put it together. His batting average is on the climb and he's looking better at the plate. Too bad he didn't serve his suspension right away when it was given to him.

Uribe has also clicked and his average is way up from where it was. How about Juan's little buddy Timo hitting that home run? Its nice to see Timo again.

Thats OK. He earned respect in the MLB by coming to his team-mates defense and pulling a WWF on..."who was that"? Skinny little Pods too, who took Barrett down as if he was Dick the Bruiser. Yaknow Ozzie gave Brian a big hug for what he did. And no doubt the hat will be passed around the clubhouse for both Anderson and Riske.

The entire thing was unfortunate, but, started by Barrett. Its best both teams put it behind them and just play the game next time they meet.
