Ted Williams, Dave Brain, and Fred Odwell are the only major league players in the modern era to have done what??

They all led their league in home runs and never hit anymore after that?

Edit: Can't be right - Williams didn't lead the league in homers in 1960.

Hmmmm...

Edit #2: Did they all homer on their last MLB at bat?

They all hit 0 HR the year after they led the league.

Odwall:

-0 HR in 1906

Brain:

-led league in 1907
-0 HR in 1908

Williams:

-led league in 1942
-went to war and didn't play the next year

You are getting closer, but other players (e.g. Frank Baker - 1914) have led the league in HR's and then hit none the following year.

No homers the next three years after leading the league.

No homers the next three years after leading the league.

No, that can't be it because Brain only played 1 year after leading the league in HR, and Odwell only played 2 years after his league leading total.

No homers the next three years after leading the league.

That is technically correct, but what I am shooting for here doesn't involve the number of years without a HR. One is enough.
