What awaits us after the All Star Game?

The Rays head into the All Star break after going 4-3 against the Red Sox and Yankees. Its what happens after the All Star game that I am curious about.Will we finally see Delmon Young and BJ Upton ? Will Julio Lugo Aubrey Huff and others have new homes. Will the Rays start giving some of the young arms a chance as the new closer. The Rays have been playing some exciting baseball, I hope that continues, as there are sure to be some additional moves. Another thing to watch is Scott Kazmir as he tries to win 20 games this year.

I think both Huff and Lugo will be traded on July 31st. I would love to get a major league ready pitcher in return. I don't think E-Jax or McClung will be used as a closer, probably Meadows continues, even though I don't know how he's fooling anybody with that slop he throws up there. :cool:

We open up in Anaheim, Joe Maddon's return to his roots. I expect the team to play hard for him to show them what they are missing. Just continue to build on what we've done since Rocco has come back (10-6 record I believe, with a lot of wins over quality teams. Upton will fill Lugo's spot, once and for all. Wigginton will get Huff's spot at third base, and Lee will get a chance to put up or shut up at first.

The crowds are starting to come back to the Trop, even though half of them are residents of the Tampa Bay area rooting for the Red Sox or Yankees :mad: It will take time to turn the crowds around to Rays fans, but they are working at it, one win at a time.:gt

Upton will be moved to 3B it was announced today, after the trade of Huff. The prospect we got from the Astros will play SS at Durham. Will this speed up his call up to the Rays? Stay tuned ;)

The fact that he is now willing to move to third wiil speed up his recall. There is no guarantee that they will trade Lugo, I don't see any contenders needing a shortstop right now. By playing third he will get some experience, and will probably be given a chance at short next season.
