Just to let everyone know, this is not a funny caption thread. I would like the photos to speak for themselves.
Feel free to comment on them though or ask for player identifications.
Thanks

Sounds like you want captions ;)
No.
I want comments on photos..feel free to have fun, but I dont want it turning into a joke...one that will last about one week before everyone gets bored to death and stops looking at the great photos i've collected.
And I certainly don't want it being hijacked like my "How did your team fare on the day you were born thread." ;)

A guy on my team, throwing as hard as he could. The second baseman (behind him) just booted an easy grounder, so the pitcher's angry. He yelled, and I could hear it from left field.

First and only picture of Babe Ruth and Jack Dempsey ever taken together. Seated on sofa from left to right: Jack Dempsey, Babe Ruth and Christy Walsh. Babe estimates he has autographed a million baseballs more or less. Jack is seen autographing a baseball for the first time in his life. The ball also bore the signature of John McGraw and was handed to Bernard Dempsey, the Champion's brother. At the right is Christy Walsh, syndicate manager for both Babe Ruth and Jack Kearns. Manager of the Champion.

My left bicep is considerably larger than my right. I was told it is because I favour that arm when lifting, which in fact, I do.

To all those following this photo thread:
Eric (Bench 5) has just sent me a photo resource beyond compare. Here's the link.
http://pro.corbis.com/default.aspx
This site is simply amazing. One simply types in the name of the player you're seeking and WOW! KaBoom! The photos have the clarity of original photos, not copies, and many are less cropped than I've ever seen before.
Don't forget to right-click on the photos to enlarge them, and use your cursor to draw down the line across the screen, to enlarge the viewing area.
I am now able to replace some of the shots on this archive with original, uncropped shots.
Here's a hint. When you first view the photos, they have a water mark impressed on them. But if you register, for free, the water mark is removed, and they are ready for down loading. Hope you guys check this out, cuz it's bangin & poppin.---Bill
