Kelly tracked some of the fraudulent credit card purchases to gas stations in Vero Beach and Georgia. The transactions, totaling more than $200, appeared to be used for gas purchased at self-serve pumps. He can't have done much driving at the current gas prices!!

The all-state pitcher's first year with the Dodgers' rookie team was less than stellar in 2005.

His Gulf Coast League statistics showed he only pitched 5.1 innings, had no wins, one loss and one save. Hobdy had the worst ERA on the team at 20.25.
Dodgers need pitchers but this guy was not really shaping up at this stage of his career. Perhaps he should have stayed at college a little longer.

Hobdy told police he was remorseful and said he raided the rooms because he was "unable to meet his expenses," according to the affidavit.
Any frivolity aside, it is sad that this guy, who wanted to make it in the big league, was unable to sustain a living playing minor league ball, and had to resort to theft from his team mates!!

Oh, by the way.....Hi Gabin. welcome to BBF!!
