Thought it might be nice to have a place to discuss what goes on day in and day out; an amazing catch, a long dinger, or whatever pops up.
For instance if you watched sportscenter tonight (8/2) or on the morning of 8/3, you will see Griffey make the last out of the Reds game during their highlight. Left fielder goes back against the wall and makes a catch. Something that comes up on here a lot (at least by me) is the margin of error for hitters in this era skyrocketing. Watch junior's swing. Watch how he's fooled by a backdoor curveball. Butt sticks out and he's got nothing behind the swing. He flicks the bat as if he's hoping to foul it off, but he ends up hitting it to the opposite field, to the warning track, no less.
Or during the A's highlight you'll see Payton get drilled on the hand because he was diving out over the plate. And what does he do; he takes offense, lol. Gotta love it.
During the Rockies highlight, you'll see Helton taking one from around the neck and tomahawking it out for a bomb, pretty sweet stuff.
So if you see a highlight on sportscenter/espn news where you'd like to point something out, ask a question, or just make an observation, this is the place. That way we can all see what you're talkin' about.
