How manny players had played in MLB history? There is any site with this information?

This might not include AL pitchers who only pitched after 1972 and either never batted in the National League or interleague play, but I don't think that would be that many

I believe there have been about 14,000-15,000 major league players. The number goes up every year of course.

AS of before 2006 season there were 16,566 people who played in a major league. There is around 250 or so players who make their debut every year.
