Just read this in Seth Mnookin's Feeding the Monster about the Red Sox.
"One of (Tom) Yawkey's main business interests during the years he owned the Red Sox was the Sunset Lodge, a South Carolina whorehouse he ran until authorities closed it down in 1969. A one-time patron recently described the Sunset as "the Wal-Mart of fast, fast relief."
