You beat me to it, Zagi-CRO, and welcome aboard. When we reach the 3/4 point of the season, and things are really heating up, I like to see who people think are real contenders as opposed to pretenders. I'm pleasantly surprised the Tigers are guaranteed of their first winning season in a decade, and are looking like the odds on favorite to dethrone the World Champs in the ALCentral.:gt I predicted at the beginning of the season that the NLCentral was the toughest division, and absolutely anyone could win it this season; little did I know the Reds would come on so strong here in the second half, the Cards would be scuffling and limping along, and anyone except the Cubs and the Pirates really had a shot. The NLEeast is perhaps the biggest surprise; did anyone guess the Mutts would being running roughshod over the rest? They look like the team that will be representing the NL in the World Series if the trend continues. The ALEast is shaking out like usual, and I find it hard to believe the Yanks are leading, and convincingly at that, in spite of their injuries, advanced years, and the fact they haven't suffered the major meltdown I've been predicting for three years now.:p I hate those guys. The west in both leagues are still wide open, but the perennial Dodgers and A's late season surges are on, again, and they look to be the teams to beat with 38 or so to go.
