I figured this could be interesting, although I think i already know what some members responses will be.

I figure one current position player and pitcher

And one retired position player and pitcher

I'll start with mine. :D

Current:

Nomar Garciaparra
Pedro Martinez

Retired:

Mickey Mantle (my apologies Billy Cox)
Lefty Grove (apologies to Koufax and Allie Reynolds)


I'll probably count them up after a nice round number, depending on how many people answer, then determine if there are any players that really stick out.

Please chime in!

(Obviously not tough like any of the BBF HOF threads, just though it would be interesting to see if any players stuck out. And im somewhat bored)
