Even with Frank Thomas' batting the way he is, I still am most impressed by Zito. He pitched so well in the Metrodome yesterday that it made me wonder why this was the first time he was the A's number 1 starter in the post-season.

This may surprise some, but I picked Scutaro. He's a backup for Crosby and he's had 2 doubles and 2 RBI's. Frank Thomas has been cranking the ball all year and he's expected to do this. Scutaro has risen well above expectations.

You know, I was thinking Scutaro as well. He is only batting .250 in this post-season, but no one expected him to contribute at all. Good job Marco!

I have doubted the A's all year, but they seem to be proving me wrong. I think they might have what it takes to make it to the World Series.

All of the mentioned players have done well- but I'm sorry, Zito slayed Santana and that deserves kudos... So of course he has my vote!

8 Innings, 1 Run against the Twins, in the Metrodome, facing Mauer, Morneau, Cuddyer, and Hunter. Serving Santana a loss at home for the first time in over a year.

That's why I chose Zito too.

Ditto, baby, ditto..

Couldn't agree more. You have to look at the IMPACT Zito had on the game and the series.

I had to choose Zito's performance. It was outstanding pressure pitching. Go A's! One more win, please!

Gotta be the Big Hurt. It seems like he's always on base. Plus he basically won game one.

The BIG HURT !!!
Having such an outing at his age is unbelievable , Kenny Rogers and He are the Biggest Postseason surprises except when he went hitless vs the Tigers .
