Bored with MVP?If so, try to win this game. Your the Wilmington Bluerocks, your playing the MVP legends. To make it the hardest possible game:
1. Go to options in the My MVP screen, choose gameplay tuning.
2.Turn any option that would benifit you to -50.
3.Turn any option that would benifit the Computer to +50.
4.Turn injuries up to 50 (since they have more depth, obviously)
5. Play at Cleveland Muncipal (with the largest capacity, in theory it should give the Home team (the MVP Legends) the biggest benifit.)
6.Good Luck:waving
I lost 22-0, Walter Johnson threw a perfect game, and I had 5 errors. He had 15 Ks. Here are some tips to keep yourself from getting killed (Not that I would know (22-0;) ) but this is what i picked up while playing)
1. Play as Conservative as you can.
2. Anything that hits the wall, throw Home with no cut ( be prepared to scoop it with up an Infielder and fire it home)
3.Bunt often, use Johnson's slow windup to make the 3rd basemen charge, and then either try to Bunt pass him or over him, or slash it( The only time I almost got a hit was when I bunted it over the 3rd basemen, but the SS picked it up and threw it to first and BARLY got me (His foot was actully off the bag:mad: )
4.Hit batters often, especally whoevers in the 8th hole if no one is on.(Since most of your pitching is basically the same anyways, who cares if you get tossed, if you hit batters, they might either get hurt or charge and get tossed/hurt or get teammates hurt during the brawl) Then once the pitchers up, bring the infield in AS MUCH as possible, as he will most likely bunt.
5. Don't dive, its too hard to time and Injurys will be very very common. Only dive to prevent the ball from rolling to the wall.
6.Look for pitchers with a good 4-seamer, it's the only thing you can hit the corners with, throw it often. Use your pitchers like its the All-star game.(Just keep an eye on how many pitchers are left in the bullpen.)
7.Dont try to turn two, go to the closest base.
8. Steamroll the catcher/take out slide if you get on base(I didn't :( )
9. Good luck, if you win, please post the boxscore and proof (because I won't beleve you :laugh)
2nd game: 36-2 :(

A little improvment I suppose :(
