Looks like "Ruby" is getting a second chance to show he can still hit.
He's been invited back to camp for a look at 1B in '07. Personally,
I think he's a bust but it might be worth a shot if he's making under $500K.

maybe John Jaha can give it a try too...or Adam Piatt :ughh ....the player I would really like to see back on the A's roster is Olmedo Saenz :clapping ,if we could somehow lure him away from the Dodgers..

The only reason he is going to be given a chance on the A's ST Roster is because the A's Failed to re-sign the Big Hurt and are desperately seeking somebody to replace him...

"desperation" would be going into the season without signings like Piazza, and if Mike doesn't cut the mustard someone will !!!!!...the Durazo tryout is just another case of an organization (Beane) that does things the right way.... the A's have never failed in doing what it takes to fill holes in a roster..... you just don't get it....
