Yeah, that's why I really like it. We saw what he could in a half-season, but now he'll be in the big leagues the whole year and he'll have a part-time role to prove himself.

Wilson should play everyday....we can have him at LF if we want Thorman at 1B. If Thorman proves himself it could be Thorman at 1B fulltime and Wilson in LF.

I forgot Wilson had the skill to play both the infield and outfield, he'll probably be our emergency catcher too. I think we need to keep him at 1st base though, his speed isn't that great.

Well we can have Thorman in LF and Wilson at 1B because their interchangeable.

I think Wilson is a good fit for the Braves. I would have liked the Yankees to re-sign him, but he probably wouldn't get a great opportunity in New York to play consistently.

I wouldn't say left field is a "hole". Langerhans/Diaz was a nice platoon to start with, I think they out-produced Melky Cabrera, a guy who was rumored to be traded to Atlanta, but thankfully wasn't.

One could call first base a hole since we don't expect Thorman to put up LaRoche-like statistics. But, LaRoche did just break out like the last few months of the 2006 season. Given platoon playing time like LaRoche had with Julio Franco, Thorman could probably put up Adam's early numbers, which is all that's needed if Wilson smashes left-handers.
