Are kidding, we missed you as much as we mised flying27! So what do you say? If Josh Towers does not pitch a quality start, I will put something of your choosing in my sig for 1 month's time.

I honestly think he will pitch decently today. Just a gut feeling.

bit of a tough 1st from towers. we got to remember, he still hasn't pitched since spring training so some rust will be expected.

like i said in the other thread... first major leauge start in a year (ish) besides for a start or two for september call ups (correct me if im wrong... hes the only player i realy follow on the team). so with that long of a gap between starts... and hes your 5th starter... you cant realy expect a ton out of him.

Well he is gunna blow his firstg start, he sucks and doesn't belong in the major leagues, it would be nice though if the #1 offence could, you know...get a fing run.

Of course not. That would mean backing up an opinion that doesn't make sense. At least fflying27 does his best to back up his anti McGowan opinion.

wow, great second start for josh even though i disagreed with gibbons keeping him in for the seventh or eighth. i think if you have a guy who's had trouble, espically in the later innings, you take him out after six. at least let him build his confidence up for his next start. looks great now but what if he started to give up hits in the seventh or eighth? everyone would have been on his ass and tell him to pack up his bags.
anyways, congrats josh, pitched a helluva game.
