Do you think that Juan Pierre will end this year's season with more stolen bases than runs-batted-in ?

His current stats:

RBI: 10
SB: 16

Tough to steal bases when you never get on.

Of course it's tough to drive in runs like that either...

Countdown to when Matt Kemp replaces Pierre?

Countdown to when Matt Kemp replaces Pierre?

If Kemp replaces somebody, it'll be Luis Gonzalez.
The Dodgers only signed him for 1 season, so Kemp could be an every-day guy next season, but Pierre is here to stay.
Let's not worry, Pierre will come around and end the season with an average over .280 and over 35 stolen bases.

No way is pierre going to slump bad enough that any1 replaces him. Even though pierre is on a slump right now he will probably not get as many SB then RBI once he starts hitting the ball straight.

Pierre is just a dreadful hitter. He never walks and has no power whatsoever. I'm sure Colletti is thrilled that he signed a leadoff hitter with an OBP under .300 and a SLG of .316. Kemp could surpass those numbers batting lefthanded.

Pierre should already have been replaced but they won't because he makes too much money. He is the worst hitter on the team and his defense is embarrassing because my grandma throws better than him. Mike Scoscia could score from 2nd on a single against this guy.

Absolutely...his career totals support that (348 SB to 302 RBI).
