I'd like to get started trading my cards here but first I have some questions rolling around in my head: Can I trust the people who want to trade? How can I trust that I'll get what was agreed on? Best shipping methods? ETC....you get the picture. I've never done any online card trading and I'd like to give it a try. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Many of the traders on here have a "trusted traders" section on their signature... I have traded with several people on here and can give you a list of good people... actually, I have never had a bad trade on here

In my 2 years of being a member here I have "heard" from another member that he was involved in a bad trade. I heard that through AIM and not via this site, so I do not know for sure how valid his gripe was or if it was ever resolved.
Every so often I will trade with folks on here, and I have had nothing but pleasant experiences. Remember to read this sections rules on trading.
Other than that, have fun.

Since trading has been allowed on the site I am yet to read anything negative, doesnt mean it hasnt happened (which I hope it hasnt) it sure isnt a common occurence.
Im sure there are many members here that will be happy to trade with you.
What are you looking into trading?
Certain players,teams, sets?

This is exactly why I question the point of trading on here rather than using one of the more established sites that are designed for trading. Not that there aren't great people here, but there's just no established reputation or trading system here as opposed to SportsCardForum or TheBenchTrading.

Frankly I don't see an issue with the folks here trading cards. Only one member has pm'd me with an issue since trading has been established.
It's going to take time for this site's trading reputation to gain ground. But it does have a bright future.

I agree - I trade on this site often (see my sig) and all of my experiences so far have been great.
