The Royals beat the Tigers after extra innings. ESPN decided to black out the game for us in Missouri even though they were playing in Detroit, but then they showed the last innings on another ESPN channel. I don't get it :eek:

The royals win today was a win that they never would have got last season... they came through in a clutch situation and got the run they needed. GOOD WIN!

Definitely a solid first win of the season. Staying in the game all the way through and pulling it out against a great Tigers team is significant for the young Royals. Then you add the second game with a shutout and you have to feel pretty good about things. Bannister looks like he is picking up from last year, so hopefully it can continue. Anxious to see Greinke later on today.
