Royals reassigned LHP Heath Phillips, LHP Lenny DiNardo, RHP Anthony Lerew, RHP Victor Marte, C Matt Tupman and OF Tommy Murphy to minor league camp.
We'd trust either Phillips or DiNardo with a rotation spot before Horacio Ramirez. Phillips had a 3.86 ERA in his 11 2/3 innings this spring. DiNardo pitched five scoreless innings, striking out seven.
