Since my books are temporarily packed away, I'd like to ask for a hand here, please. It's about the 1950 Negro American League season.

I gather that this was played in two halves. How many games were played in each?
In particular, I'd like to know the final record of the Indianapolis Clowns (in each half, if possible).

Thanks, Gary...I'm trying to sort out details on Sam Hairston's Triple Crown that year. He signed with the White Sox organization before the season was over, but it would appear he'd amassed enough stats to win. Looking at this unbalanced schedule, that makes more sense now.
