  1. The Mediocrity Continues for the Bombers

Big things were expected from the Yankees coming into this year. Especially after firing their legendary skipper Joe Torre and signing big contracts to seasoned player like Andy Pettitte and Jorge Posada, and not to mention giving about 30 million dollars to Alex Rodriguez after he opted out for a couple of days. He is just the ninth pitcher to do this, joining the likes of Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Pete Alexander, Pud Galvin, Warren Spahn, Kid Nichols and the now-infamous ...

  4. Just How Good Was, and Is, Greg Maddux?

Although I have heard many, many people say that Greg Maddux is "Top Three of All-Time material", I don't believe I have ever seen a list with him in the Top Three. I believe the highest I have ever seen him in is ninth all-time. This doesn't seem very fair to the Mad Dog however, because of the kind of things he was able to do in his own way.

Maddux was without a doubt the best pitcher in the '90s as he was part of probably the greatest pitching rotation and bullpen in ...
