Hall of Famer that used steroids? My theory explained...

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT AN ACCUSATION, BUT MERELY MY OWN OPINION OF WHAT HAPPENED IF JOSE CANSECO TOLD US THE TRUTH

Jose Canseco has come out and said that a HoF'er has use steriods, and was elected 7 or 8 years ago. I don't know about you, but what jumps out at me is the 7-8 years ago thing. Why not 10 or 15? I think he was trying to tell us who it is without actually telling us. Going back, 4 people were elected in those two years, Dennis Eckersley, Paul Molitor, Eddie Murray, and Gary Carter. Through my own investigation I noticed that 1. only one player played with Conseco. 2. One resembled another steroid user. 3. One had a so-so career until 1988 when it took off. This player was Dennis Eckersley. I don't have proof, I don't fully believe that Eckersley cheated, all I'm saying is that if Canseco wasn't lying about a steroid user in the Hall of Fame, than chances are that player is Dennis Eckersley.

Agreed, the argument is too skinny. Of course we all know that many of the people with failed tests were skinny pitchers and middle infielders, so a players small stature is not a great indicator of usage.
