Does anyone have any old pictures of Shea Stadium? As someone who was born in 1984 and never saw the stadium before it was painted blue and and had orange, blue, green, and red seats with a video board and outfield bleachers, it's facinating for me to see older pictures. I'm sure lots of people...
From the "Citi Field Seating/Ticket Pricing" thread... Let's give it a try. As of the original date and time of posting, I'm going to start off with the original list, as originally created and maintained by alpineinc in the "Citi Field Seating/Ticket Pricing" thread. The latest version I...
I was thinking of starting this within the next few days, but since I see we have a already have a thread for Yankee Stadium, here's one for Citi Field. We'll close the Citi Field Construction Photos thread in a few days, once the ballpark is officially complete. After that, use this thread for...

Anyone have any good photos of old Robison Field in St. Louis (home to the St. Louis Cardinals 1893-1920 and the St. Louis Browns 1902-1908)? Can't find much online... Also, for anyone interested in the history of St. Louis ballparks, check this out:...
This thread should show pictures of New York's Polo Grounds through the years. From its wooden beginnings to the sad demolition in 1964. Extension of the Grandstand, 1923. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a286/RichardLillard1/PoloGrounds1923leftfieldunderconstr.jpg...

Hi, first posting on this forum (just found it yesterday...looks VERY cool). Anyway, I was surprised to see nothing on the design for the new Twins stadium that was unveiled today. Got a few images here in case anyone is interested (courtesy WCCO-TV): ...

Since today's team workout marks the first official public event at the New Yankee Stadium, and with the exhibitions coming tomorrow, it's time to start a thread dedicated to Yankee Stadium (2009-Present), Much like we did with citi. Use this thread to post pictures and reviews of the new ballpark...
People started talking about the Danbury Mint stadium models in the NYS thread so I figured that I would create a thread specifically devoted to these models. What models do you have and show pics if you got em. I can't post photos yet but I will name off which Danbury Mint stadium models I...
I thought I'd post some photos of the early days of the Astrodome. Here's a few showing construction, a real grass field from 1965 and the awesome 474' scoreboard that used to span the outfield until 1988. There were a lot of really unique places in the Astrodome such as clubs and...
We've got threads about the pre-renovation Yankee Stadium and the actual renovation of Yankee Stadium, so I thought it only fitting and proper that the post-renovation version have its own dedicated thread. And just because a thread has to start somewhere, I thought I'd post a few pictures I...

I've been wondering if MLB would ever considering playing a MLB game in Europe, like they have in Puerto Rico and Japan. I understand Europe is one of the few continents that baseball isn't very popular in, but if the NFL is playing games in London, to try in grow popularity, why can't MLB? So...
Here are some pics of Anaheim Stadium, now Angel Stadium, as it is being built and the early days of the stadium. Notice the surrounding areas, a lot different today.
I'm writing a book about the renovation of Yankee Stadium from 1973-1975. I do have quite a bit of information, but am looking for more. Does anyone know what happened to the debris from the Stadium, such as the cement, dirt and sod from the field, metal, seats, lights, etc.? If anyone knows...
Here are a few then and now photos of Crosley. The first photo shows an overall view of then and now. The second photo is looking from the scoreboard down the left field wall.
Looks like the Marlins Stadium is probably a go. Hopefully fans will show up, this stadium won't be cheap! http://www.miamiherald.com/591/story/679722.html
