no.... it is not Woody Fryman, but that is fine guess.....

Hint: This player came to the Tigers in a seven player deal in 1970.

Tram2Lou is correct.... it is Joe Coleman.

Joe came to the Tigers along with Ed Brinkman, Jim Hannan, and Aurelio Rodriguez in 1970 for Elliot Maddox, Denny McClain, Norm McRae, and Don Wert.

After being named to the All-Star team in 1972, his best year as a Tiger was 1973 when he went 23-15 with a 3.53 ERA in 288 innings. He threw 13 complete games that year.

A quality Tiger, who was purchased by the Chicago Cubs in 1976.

Now Tram2Lou it is your turn.... post 'em and we will try to figure out your "Name this Tiger".

              Sincerely,
              ryors

The Ryan Raburn of 2000-2003, Shane Halter....or is Ryan Raburn the Shane Halter of 2009? Either way that is Shane Halter.

Quite right, sir. Halter was an absolute waste of a roster spot, IMO (as 527 knows), and I firmly believe that he had a face-lift and now goes by the name Ryan Raburn.
