That's not a terrible team but, boy does it pale in comparison to what the other NL team to join the league in 1969 brings to the table. I'm referring, of course, to the Montreal Expos. Not even close.

thats a hard team to try to pick players for i still dont feel right picking nettles at third but i cant think of anyone else. yeah the expos all time team is almost as good as the whitesox all time team -- least the offensive players would be-- not the pitching

Dennis Martinez was very good for the Expos, and they also had Wetteland and Reardon for a while, and a guy named Pedro Martinez for 4 years. They also brought Randy Johnson up through their system. Just think if they could claim big chunks of the careers of RJohnson and PMartinez!

I'm surprised no Tim Flannery at 2B or Tommy Lasorda's favorite hitter Kurt Bevacqua as PH

Caminiti could be 3B, unless you have an issue with the steroids. Tenace could be C though he was really C/1B and maybe Andy Benes coudl crack the rotation. But nice job it couldn't have been easy.

yeah your right caminiti should be the third baseman--- the starting pitchers were tough there was like 7 or 8 of em that are pretty much the same --i think benes was gonna be my next pick. i picked hurst because he had a good winning percentage.
