Will Kendall Be Ready For 2011?
Jason Kendall suffered a season ending injury in August. Usually extremely durable, that was the first serious injury for Kendall since early in his career, a full 10 years or more ago.
Is he expected to be healthy enough to return for Spring Training, Opening Day, or for sometime next season?

P.S.: Kendall has played in 2085 games, 2025 of those as a catcher. Currently he is fifth on the all-time list for games played at catcher and he will be only 37 next season. Were he to play in 202 more career games over the next 2 or 3 years he would move up to second place all-time in that category. He'd pass Gary Carter, Bob Boone and Carlton Fisk, currently in second place at 2226 games. Record-Holder, Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez continues to play and he should put the record out of reach for possibly a generation or more. Pudge is currently at about 2400 games caught and counting .
