Oh ok. I didnt hear that interview.....I try really hard not to listen to Michael Kay. Which makes it tough watching Yankee games.

Look the dimensions changes are going to happen. They are so piss poor and so poorly thought out that its a no brainer. What pisses me off is that we had to live with this garbage for two seasons now, and more than likely a third season.

Can we leave the "going forwards" for Brian Cashman, please? Subtract those two words and your sentence means exactly the same.
Sorry, but this one has been driving me bananas for years. The virus broke out of Wall Street (where I work) to the general population.

If Alderson persists with this "trade Jose Reyes" crap - one of a tiny handful of true homegrown stars - then it's time for the Wilpons to think about removing him as GM. It's that bad a move.
Cleon Jones catches a deep fly ball in F. Scott Fitzgerald's Valley of the Ashes, and a second-grader smiles in front of the black and white television.

First of all the Mets are not desperate to trade anyone, Reyes included.

The last 10 years this term "home grown talent" has really taken flight hasnt it? It was invented by jealous Met fans as an attempt to knock the Yankees for signing free agents. Thats what it is. Period. I dont give a rats ass where the talent was grown....Mets, White Sox, Dominican Republic, or Mars. Just Win Baby!!

Strawman - the first step to curing a problem is to first admit it. What if the trade made the Mets immediately better, would you still be saying what you saying? What if they traded him to Nationals for Bryce Harper? Now it wont happen because the Nationals are just not that stupid but you get the point.

I am not saying Jose Reyes will or should be traded, but unless Reyes is the best player in baseball and we couldnt get any better then anyone is tradeable. Personally I dont want to see him go, but but but if they get their socks knocked off with an offer do you say no because he is home grown? That is so absurd it cant measured.

Everybody! Join the "Keep Reyes Forever" bandwagon! He's homegrown!

While we complain about the dimensions of Citi Field, be aware that the 2013 Home Run Derby is at Citi Field. That is going to be something..

No it will be a good HR Derby. The dimensions will have been changed by then.

Well, since Omar is still under contract it may be time to bring him back after the crippling, depressing, and frankly incompetent performance of Sandy Alderson thus far. From hiring Collins to dangling Reyes as trade bait to allowing the bullpen to walk away to being active in zero important trade or free agent talks, this overly-hyped front office is overstayed its welcome.

Sure Minaya got us Ollie Perez and Luis Castillo on bloated contracts (and sucked at handling the media), and signed Jason 'the bum' Bay - but he also landed Pedro, Beltran, Delgado and was brilliant at bringing in undervalued vets like R.A. Dickey, Endy Chavez, Jose Valentin, Marlon Anderson, Chris Woodward, Damion Easley, Darren Oliver, Chad Bradford, Pedro Feliciano and Angel Pagan (all this from Steve Popper in the Bergen Record).

Look at the talent changing teams in MLB this year - and look at the tumbleweeds blowing around Citi Field.

at this point i'm just going to safely assume he's either being sarcastic or else is just really young and simply doesn't know any better. There is no possible way any baseball fan can be this dense. None.

What are the big moves changing hands? Werth? - Werth would be near Werthless (notice the play on words there?) in that horrible park ala Jason Bay. From Citizens Bank to Citi is night and day. Yeah sure lets spend 126 million on him Did you want them to trade for Gonzalez. You would cry if they traded for him because then IKE is gone. Do you want that? Stop whining. Its getting the point where you cable company is going to stop your connection because your connection is being used as a weapon against intelligence.

You were told by the adults that they werent going to sign anyone big this off-season, and 2011 will be a transition year. Your opting not to listen to the big smart people. Not good considering Santa is watching you. Now cut it out or their will be a lump of coal in your stocking.

I know your right, but just by the slim chance that he is serious about this...I feel the need to tell him of his stupidity.

Saw something amusing, Alderson on the Werth deal:

"Makes some of our contracts look pretty good."

"I thought they we're trying to reduce the deficit in Washington."
