I can think of three pitchers who appeared in one game during a season and managed to record a save in their lone appearance:

Joey Jay (1957)
Rick Waits (1973 - a dubious save, as I've mentioned before)
Don Carman (1983)

Can anybody name other pitchers who have done this?

According to Lee Sinins' electronic baseball encylopedia, it has only happened three times since the save became an offical stat. But it happened many times before that, including John Jay in 1957.
