The Thunder sign Dave Goltz to a one year deal for 13 million. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised to get him at that price. Being a one year guy, I thought he could easily end up with a payday over 15 M.
With Goltz I have 3 pitchers with a WAR above 5.0 (Eckersley, Goltz, and Tiant). By WAR, I believe the only club with a better trio is the Corsairs (Niekro at 9.1, Guidry at 8.1, Matlack 6.1).
Those are some impressive WAR totals. IP's has something to do with those numbers. It would be interesting to see which pitching staff has the highest WAR total or best BF/WAR ratio
Angels staff has 33.6 WAR and 264 BF/WAR ratio
