Why not? I always wanted the D-Backs to have purple and orange colors.

The Mets should dump the pinstripes for the snow whites.

The Mets have the best, smartest fans in baseball.

    Agreed.

They should also bring back the black uniforms. Those were my favorite.

Bring back the 1990 pullovers with pinstripes. A colorful and fun look.

At least the Mets had the good sense to realize how horrible striped waistbands looked on a baseball uniform. and always wore the belted look.

I don't think I've ever seen them wear the red cap on the road. Always blue for road trips.

Wish the Reds would go back to their Big Red Machine unis, pre-pullover look of course. Their current set bugs me, especially the font.

I love stripes and the sansabelt allows for more stripes but the '90 Mets unis had those stripes on the sides, the belted pants work. Pullovers need to come back. Trim pullovers mean no loose jerseys with 2 or 3 buttons unbuttoned. Pullovers are very sharp. Retro in a good way! Positive energy with the pullovers!

I'm not as opposed to the pullover tops as I am to the beltless look. The Mets weren't bad with the pullovers because, 1. They wore them with belted pants and 2, the trim on the pullover collar was a solid color. Pullovers with stripes look very dated.

Another example were the '74 Braves. Pullovers with a plain collar and belts. I liked this look.

Angels with the pullovers and elastic waist pants. Look at the stripes. The Angels never looked so good.

Sure they did, when they ditched the leisure suits.

    Pullovers and Sansabelts Rule!

Ozzie rocking the pullover jersey with sansabelt pants! These rule, these are what the Cardinals are all about. Completely free of pretentiousness. This is baseball. This is sport. This is competition. This is ripe for a comeback. Stripes rock and add to the visual appeal of the game.

    No pretentiousness allowed

The Reds, button and buckle-free and loving every minute of it. Stripes are the way to go. Stripes are a way of life, they belong on the diamond. Stripes are a ballpark staple! These are the Reds I remember, these are the Reds I want to know again.

Pullovers and Sansabelt pants are the answer!

Gary Sheffield played many years for many teams, he looked his best wearing the Brewers colors. Stripes make the look. Without pullovers and sansabelts, we have no stripes. Why deny yourself? Stripes are good for you. Enjoy stripes.
