In my view, the Dutch, Australians and Canadians are the only WBC teams with decent jerseys, though the Aussie need to change their cap.

The Yankees should do something about their road uniforms. Very boring. They didn't even bother wearing them in Japan several years ago. There's a fine line between being "traditional" and being stagnant.

The road jerseys doesn't bother me. I hope Nike makes a deal with MLB and start doing uniforms. They are already doing MLB caps with the swoosh on it.

If MLB starts allowing branding all over the uniforms, that's the first step to looking like little league teams. Or NASCAR cars. Or a Japanese or Taiwanese team. But I must concede that the Yankees' road uniforms COULD use some racing stripes. Fluorescent orange and green. With sparkles.

This uniform from last year would be a good place to start, when coming up with new Yankee road uniforms. I would add 2" stripes down the side of the jersey and pants, perhaps tri-color, the Yankees have red in their logo and there's some red on the stirrups, so perhaps red could be added to the uniform, navy, red, navy. I want to be entertained. Give me something. Might as well acknowledge this is the HD era.

A fashion show is good. Of course I bet it would be real entertaining to run around and dodge traffic on a busy interstate. I'd like to see those colors in HD.
