I'll take a wild guess: Mattingly? I seem to remember him hitting 53 one year, although I guess Bernie or Jeter could have done the same since.

Edit: Wow, I thought you asked who was the last Yankee to hit 50 doubles, now I see you said who were the three. My bad.

Lou Gehrig is the Truest Yankee of them all!

I'm positive about Alfonso Soriano (in the season he missed 40/40 by a single home run ... 2002, I think) and Don Mattingly. I'll toss out Lou Gehrig as the third, if only because I know he hit 40+ doubles seven or eight times. It seems like a good guess.

All are correct. I need to come up with some tougher ones.

Who is the Yankees all-time leader in IBB?

I'm not sure if clarification is necessary ... but I'm asking which hitter drew the most IBB over the course of his career (as opposed to a pitcher issuing the most IBB).

I would think Ruth, but then again walking Ruth to get to Gehrig isn't much difference.

I should clarify - IBB really didn't exist until the 1940's.

Let's see who can name the 7 relief pitchers since 1997 - not named Mariano Rivera - to record at least 5 saves for the Yankees.

Steve Karsay, Mike Stanton and Mendoza for certain. Nelson I would assume.

Stanton, Mendoza, Karsay, Nelson, and Gordon are correct.

                            2 more to go...

Kyle Farnsworth-less. And the last one is the toughest to remember. Juan Acevedo (2003).

If it's my turn now, I will ask: How many members of the 1986 Mets played for the Yankees at one time in their careers? (this does not include one other member of the 86 Mets who was Yankee property at one time but never played for them).
