    Brad Penny

Here I am watching the Tigers/Royals game and yet again Brad Penny is getting pounded. He gave up 6 runs in the 4th. This is getting to be expected from Penny.

He has had brief flashes of talent this season. But more often, he has these big run innings where he falls apart and just can't get back in control.

I pray that Leyland takes him out of the rotation during the offseason. If I see Brad Penny's face during the offseason, I'm turning off the TV.

I can't decide which is worse; Brad Penny and multi-run innings? Or the fact that Leyland leaves him in so long while he's getting pounded.

My friend and I had this discussion last night. We both agree that he won't be a Tiger next year. We have watched him all season and concluded that he is kind of a jerk too.

He loves him his vodka so much he married Smirnoff.

When he was here in SF we got the same impression, nothing you could put your finger on though. Just that baseball-jock jerk gene in abundance I guess.
He comes across angry with the intensity, sort of the always pissed off type. I dunno. Not a big deal, most of these players aren't someone you want to have over for dinner. Baseball culture is pretty aggro and crude so Brad fits in pretty well I imagine.
