    100 wins and World Championships

-Since the end of World War II, there have only been 6 teams that won 100 or more games in a regular season, and then went on to win the World Series that did not hail from New York City. Name them.

-Out of the 6 110 or more win teams in MLB history, which ones went on to win the World Series.

    1975-76 Reds
    1970 Orioles
    1968 Tigers
I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game.

2010 the Giants won the WS, the 86 Mets won over 100 games but i'd think there would be more.

This would be wrong too I was thinking only Yankee teams but its teams from NewYork.

I think jnakumara got em all and i'm assuming he meant the 2011 Phillies who won 102 games and have a decent shot at winning this year but I cant think of any team that accomplished this since 1945. Although during WW2 there were some Cardinal teams which won 100 games.

I think jnakamura got all the 110+-win teams, although the 1954 Indians are incorrect, as they were upset by the Giants in the World Series.

It looks like he got five of the six 100-win teams, though the 2010 Phillies are obviously incorrect. I'm not sure who the sixth team is. Maybe the 1967 Cardinals?

EDIT: I sat here thinking about it for so long that CWS beat me to the punch.

yeah but the 2010 Phillie pick was a pretty big miss. I can see the Indians being a mistake since it was over 50 years ago but having a cold doesnt excuse the Phillie pick. im kidding with ya.
