This read between 1942-44 Cleveland Indians Old Timers. I'm thinking at least 1948? And they are in Cleveland.

First player is Roger Peckinpaugh.I believe the 6th player is Ray Mack and his last year playing was 1947, that's why I said it has to be at least 1948.

Anyone want to take a guess.

Looks like the photo is 1947-1949 according to the road uniforms they are wearing.

L-R; Roger Peckinpaugh, Earl Averill, Hal Trosky, Unknown, Unknown, Ray Mack, Unknown, Unknown, Luke Sewell, Johnny Allen, Unknown, Unknown, Mel Harder

Thats at Cleveland, not Yankee Stadium.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game.

13th from the left looks like Mel Harder. I've read about every Indians game in 1948 and don't remember reading about an old timers game. The photo may be from later than 1948.

The two clubhouse attendants are listed as "Sharkey". They both had that nickname, but their last name was Colledge.

I love Old-Timer photots...and this is a real good one!

The second player is Earl Averill for sure...those ears are a dead give-away. I remember him from multiple ID's in the BPL project. The third guy is real familiar. I might be able to pull that one one, too. So far, that's about it.

Third from left may be Hal Trosky.

The players are wearing the road uniforms that the Indians wore from 1947 until 1949.

1947-49 is what I will put down until I find the exact date. Also thanks for the Harder and Trosky ID's.
