    Led by Nap Lajoie who was the newly formed American League's first Triple Crown winner, .426, 14 Hr, 125 RBI and still holds the American League single season batting Average at .426.
    Just about everyone on this team jumped to the American League in 1901. The team barnstormed out west in the winter months.

    Baseball's Past in Black and White

    A rare photo of a young Shoeless Joe Jackson, taken c.1910. That season, he won the Southern Association batting title with a .354 avg, while leading the New Orleans Pelicans to the pennant.

    1908 Reach All-American Baseball Stars-Oriental Tour

    The team left on November 3, 1908 and returned on February 15, 1909. They played team from Japan, China, Philippines and Hawaii. They were 17-0 against Japan.
    The team were players from the majors and the Pacific coast league.

    Often confused with the 1915 Federal League team the Buffalo Blues or Buffeds. A lot of major league players on this team and one future Hall of Fame manager. ID'S by Dto7 except Fred Beebe and Joe Judge.
