Led by Nap Lajoie who was the newly formed American League's first Triple Crown winner, .426, 14 Hr, 125 RBI and still holds the American League single season batting Average at .426.
Just about everyone on this team jumped to the American League in 1901. The team barnstormed out west in the winter months.

The team left on November 3, 1908 and returned on February 15, 1909. They played team from Japan, China, Philippines and Hawaii. They were 17-0 against Japan.
The team were players from the majors and the Pacific coast league.
