    The only Flandreau, South Dakota professional team. Three players played in the major leagues at some time. Bill Carney, Homer Hillebrand and Dan Stearns.

    The 1900 White Stockings photo is in post #144.

    I agree with Jeff Olsen's identifications of Patterson and Brain. I think that the player in the top row, second from left, is not Brodie but Pat Dillard. Brodie might be the unidentified player in the bottom row, far left.

    Bell is probably Ralph Bell, who would have a cup of coffee as a White Sox pitcher in two years.

    Scott might be Everett Scott, future Red Sox & Yankee starting shortstop.

    Curtis is likely Harry Curtis before being sent off to Montreal.

    Spenser is likely a misspelled Ben Spencer, who would have a cup of coffee in Griffith's outfield in three years.

    Yes it is Gary and Walter Carlisle is to the left of Shano Collins. Frank Miller to the right of Lena Blackburne and reporter Hugh Fullerton to the right of Fred Olmstead. But I just did the ones with a uniform.
