Earlier this week, I met up with a few of Hodges' players at the Winning Beyond Winning Gil Hodges Legacy Dinner in Long Island. I spoke with them about his chances for Hall of Fame election with the Golden Era ballot, including Mrs. Joan Hodges. Enjoy the read.

Good article! Here's hoping they are successful. Vin Scully was very outspoken in his support for Hodges, and acted on it when he was one of the voters before they changed the Veterans Committee (again). I hope people are listening.

I agree with you completely - I've always supported Hodges.

I hope he gets in while his widow and his fans are still alive. It will probably be the last honor to the Brooklyn Dodgers.
