I'll give a bit of a review and season run down sunday or monday.
The fictional cubbies didn't make the playoffs: they didn't even get to .500. Myth will have a long winter learning what it feels like not to play mid-october for the 1st time.

Opps! Forgot about Sunday or monday....
In any case; here's the final National central standings:
Reds--91/71
Cards--90/72
Brews-- 80/82
Pitt-- 78/84
Cubbies--77/85
'Stros--53/109
It would have been a exciting finish for the Cards and reds.
The final places on the teams didn't vary at all, surprising me a bit.

Commentary on Ezekiel Myth's 2012 stats:
16 triples in 94 games
I don't know what happened with this, frankly. Clearly my system of stat-generation needs some tweaking.
Just 41 non-intentional walks.
I don't get this one, either. But it's actually a 2-season shift in Myth's stats. Note:
Zeke Myth's % of non-intentional walks per plate appeance
2010: .251
2011: .112
2012: .105
35 stolen bases.
This isn't a poor total. Even in a bob-tailed season, Myth still puts in a 30/30 season.
But the irony of Myth's being so certain he was set for a big season therein is kinda stark. On top of that; it was his poorest sucess rate. In one 4 game stretch; he was thowrn out 3 times.

Overview of the cubs 2012 season....
A quck couple numbers that cut to the chase on how the cubs stumbled:
2011 cubs..... 754 runs scored/746 runs allowed=90 wins.
2012 cubs......699 runs scored/736 runs aloowed=77 wins.
Despite some depressing numbers by some, the overall pitching was actually not that bad.
The offense dropped enough to turn things downward.
Zeke missed 68 games, Shaw missed 40. Judging from the 'below expected RBI totals of both of them, something nust have happened to Sushi's get-on-base ability. The #2 hitter most of the season, Lemonkrump, was a waste of dugout space(he was released in early September, after a confrontion with Shaw). Bon-Bon did crank out 32 HR's; Shaw had 31. So they had 3, 30+ long ball hitters.....and probably not much else.
This team has work ahead for next year.
It's also Zeke's 4th season in the majors.
Time for arbitration....
