I have 2002 Matt Cain Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor

Someone wants to buy my 2002 Matt Cain Gold Refractor from me. Condition is pack to sleeve to card protector. Anyone know how much this should go for? I can't do anything on Beckett without paying a ridiculous price and couldn't find any for sale on ebay or on the net. I can't even reduce my collection to 100 cards on Beckett.

I don't subscribe to price guides in general - just basing it off sells I found online.

I probably should have included Draft in my query. The Matt Cain 2002 Bowman "DRAFT" Gold "REFRACTOR" does not go for $9 anywhere and has not since it came out in late 2002. It is a limited run, I forget what it is. The thick gold card insert that is NOT a refractor might go for $9. Like I stated before, I looked on ebay and several other sites for an idea of what it might run to no avail.

Price guides don't mean jack... Throw it on Ebay with a starting bid of $.01 and let the market dictate it's value.

Ebay is a fire sale and a sad joke now and no longer the measure it used to be. I stopped selling on ebay because of their ridiculous policies.

Why would anyone even want a Matt Cain card Is it made out of real gold?

Don't know what to tell you then except the bottom has fallen out of the market. The industry is nothing as it used be - good luck getting what you're asking for your card, hope that pans out for you. Have you considered selling it thru Beckett's website?

A couple of knowledgeable guys from the buyer's side ranges it from $75 to $125. It's a short run to 50 numbered.

Amen. Havren't looked at a Beckett since 2012. eBay sets the market price.

Yikes, looks like the seller cashed in on the moment. I seriously doubt that card will hold that value for too long.
