There will be a final election to select the 40th man from amoung the runners up of the positional elections. Quite a few players, of course, split time at multiple positions. --Attached are the leaderboards for the 1970s. Top 25 for batting, pitching and fielding. I set the qualifiers fairly low to allow the guys who didn't play the full decade a chance to shine - 2,000 PA and 80 IP.
Mark, did you figure 80 IP or 800 IP? I agree with 2000 PA, which is basically four full seasons, but 80 IP sure doesn't seem like many....
