    Matt Holliday to first base

    Has anyone considered moving Matt Holliday to first base? Many left fielders have moved to first base in their careers, especially as they age. My thinking is that Holliday will get older and slower as his range in the outfield would decrease. It would also provide Adron Chambers a position to play as a regular.

    The Cards have Berkman, Beltran, Craig, Jay, and Holliday. Why would they create space for a light-hitting, low OB% guy? Just because he is fast?
