Interesting pick Wade. A truly short term home IF you move to the Brown's park along with the team next year. Of course if you then take Sportsman's Park when it gets built your hitters will love you!

Actually, I forgot to check how long the ballpark was used. I liked that ballpark's info, and didn't think about it disappearing.

Preferring stability in my home park (and since Bennett Park/Tiger Stadium) was previously taken), the Detroit Tigers will play in Huntington Avenue Grounds. Somehow that just sounds weird.

Baker Bowl is a hitter's park right along, but actually is a tough HR park until 1911. They must have moved something that year, because the home runs start to FLY out of that park then, with HR factors of higher for lefties and 121 or higher for righties every year until 1930, frequently exceeding 200. Your pitchers will HATE you, Ed.

I was surprised to see that Fenway, although a decent hitter's park most years, is actually a very tough HR park, at least through 1930. So if you decide to inherit Fenway when it opens, it should be interesting Dan.

The Express will finish the park selections by choosing Columbia Park.

Where to? The Baker Bowl stays the Baker Bowl through about 1937. I'll have dibs on Shibe Park if you were looking at that, because the Athletics went from Columbia Park to Shibe - unless I messed up somewhere.

I'd like to announce the first trade of the P2PKL League. Jack has graciously contacted me and offered to swap stadiums with me. So if that's okay with everyone else in the league, the Tigers will move to Bennett Park and the Kumquats will go to Huntington Avenue Grounds.

Thanks again Jack; the Tigers are going home.

That's a very generous move by Jack ... any future considerations involved there?

I think the Tigers agreed to give an unpromising minor leaguer by the name of Cobb to the Kumquats. He doesn't seem to have much potential anyway....

Kumquats confirm. No strings except he'll trade me his #1 pick for Freddie Freeloader

Wish I would have thought of that, Lew. Who is the Corn Cob, anyway?

Some skinny kid they scouted with a bad temper and little potential. No bat at all, but has a bit of an arm and fields OK.
