    Radio information. iPad user.

I downloaded the iPad app for KABC. Will I be able to listen to the Dodgers games with it, or does MLB block them? Thanks. Go Dodgers!

The Dodgers have moved from KABC to AM570 for 2012.
At work, I listen to them with the MLB At Bat

Doug217, I believe either way you'll have to pay to listen, whether it is MLB At Bat or paying to listen to an MLB-affiliated radio station. That said, kudos for being a midwest-based Dodgers fan - as you know, it is not easy and makes for many late nights!

I will tell you why I love the Dodgers. In 1981, I was 17 years old, and sent a letter to every MLB team asking for a pocket schedule. Some sent, some didn't. The Dodgers mailed back to me a game program, a year book, a Dodger sticker, and some Dodger baseball cards. In other words, they sent a kid from Kentucky some great stuff, knowing that kid probably wouldn't be buying tickets to Dodger stadium anytime soon. I was smitten! As it s, I wear my Dodger gear and go see them when they play Cincinnati. That's why I love the Dodgers.

Ahhh. that is such a cute story! Thank you for sharing it with us.

I caught the fever real bad with those last three games against Houston where they were on the brink of elimination but they won Friday, they won Saturday and they won Sunday. I attended all three games. Dodgers forced an extra game on Monday. As soon as the final out was recorded, I stood in line to buy a ticket. That Monday Tommy used Dave Goltz and the Astros used Niekro. Tommy should have used Fernando. I was crushed with that loss and sat in the parking lot for a long time. But in November of that year, I made up my mind to become a season ticket holder. I walked into Dodger Stadium and bought one ticket in the Loge. I was in for a treat that year with Fernandomania and the Dodgers beating the Yankees in the World Series.

Thanks for the info. It's worth it to stay up late just to listen to Vin Scully, even though he is part time now.
