Weaver looked fantastic last night in the Angels' first game. The club's 2-5 hitters combined to go 3 for 15 and the Angels still took the game 5-0. That's not a bad start at all.

Angels blow the lead against the Twins. Sorry fellas. The Angels BP looks weak.

Jered Weaver pitched a no-hitter against the Minnesota Twins this evening.

    5 years, $125 Million

Now you have Pujols and Hamilton in the same lineup, killer. Oh and not to mention young Trout as well...

There is the AL West on a platter for you.

Yep they sure did a 5 year contract.
"(Shoeless Joe Jackson's fall from grace is one of the real tragedies of baseball. I always thought he was more sinned against than sinning." -- Connie Mack

"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. And when they finally won the World Series, they celebrated without annoying every other fan in the country."--Jim Caple, ESPN (Jan. 12, 2011)
